You can buy cancellation insurance at the time of booking that is valid in combination with the terms below. The cost of the cancellation insurance is presented when booking.
Cancellation insurance is only valid on presentation of a doctor's certificate. You agree to these rules before you confirm your booking at the time of booking.
The cancellation insurance allows you to cancel up until the agreed arrival date. Cancellation must be made as soon as you know that you won’t be able to fulfil the agreement due to one of the events below.
Valid reasons for using the cancellation insurance:
1. Death, illness or serious accident affecting you, your spouse, live-in partner, parents, children, siblings or fellow travellers
2. Another serious event outside your control, e.g. extensive fire or flooding of your home, that means it is not reasonable for you to use your booking
3. When called up by the national defence of civil protection services
4. If, due to redundancy or new employment, you are prevented from using your booking.
Your impediment must be verified with a relevant certificate from, for example, a doctor or insurance company. The certificate must reach us no later than 30 days after the date of cancellation.
In the event of cancellation, the cancellation insurance cost, any change fees and the booking fee will not be repaid.
The amount to be refunded will be paid at the latest 10 days after you have provided a certificate that proves you are entitled to use the cancellation insurance.
